Ella Alonso (she/her): With eight years of experience working in public libraries, including six years as a nationally recognized speaker, Ella has had the privilege of helping libraries connect with the tools and strategies they need to succeed. She has seamlessly combined her love for teaching with her dedication to making libraries, and the people behind them, thrive.
From public speaking to hands-on training, Ella has seen firsthand how the right approach can make a world of difference.

She enjoys simplifying complex topics and making them feel approachable, whether she’s leading a workshop or helping a team navigate new challenges. She’s best known for her ability to combine practical knowledge with lighthearted storytelling to engage diverse audiences.
Ask Catalog: Although she left the field for a sabbatical in November 2024, Ella kept receiving requests for advice and support from fellow library workers. She launched this passion project in the hopes to create a space for them to connect with her and, ultimately, each other.
